Rama 3

Rama 3
From its junction with Rama 4, Rama 3 Road follows the western bank of the Chao Phraya River south to Bhumibol 1 Bridge, then northwest past Rama 9 Bridge and across Rama 3 Bridge to Talat Phlu. This established neighborhood for wealthy Thai families of Chinese ancestry has recently become home to many foreigners, primarily from Korea.
public transport
Public transportation in this area currently consists of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line, connecting to the BTS (Skytrain) at Chong Nonsi and Talat Phlu Stations. Although much of its lane is physically separated from other traffic, the BRT system is still affected by traffic congestion during rush hours. A Gray monorail line (3rd phase) is planned that would duplicate or replace much of the BRT route. From Rama 3, the Sathorn central business district is also easily reached by car or taxi via local roads and several expressways.
