Bangkok Neighbourhoods

Phrom Phong

Phrom Phong

Phrom Phong is one of the busiest areas along Sukhumvit Road. The neighborhood is a combination of expensive condominiums and large new shopping malls as well as Michelin-starred restaurants and chicken-on-a-stick street food. Being split down the middle by the Sukhumvit BTS line and bisected by Phrom Phong BTS Station makes Phrom Phong easily reachable from anywhere in the city.

Phrom Phong is located on the Sukhumvit BTS line, nestled in between the bustling city center of Asok, and the lavish flashy lifestyle hub of Thonglor. On the north side, it extends from Sukhumvit 31 to 47 and on the south, Sukhumvit 22 to 30.

public transport

Traveling to and from Phrom Phong is very convenient, thanks to the BTS Sukhumvit Line, which currently provides direct service as far as Khu Khot to the north and the Kheha district to the east, with extensions in both directions underway. Just one stop down the line is Asok which is a major interchange point for Bangkok's MRT (subway) system.
